General terms and conditions of sale
Appart'Hôtel Le Splendid - Allevard-les-BainsBy booking, each customer agrees to have read and accepted the general sales conditions of the Terres de France group, as stated below. All personal data is encrypted and processed in a secure manner. The Terres de France group takes the privacy of your personal data very seriously.
Article 1 : Reservations – Deposit
At the time of your reservation, a deposit of 30% of the total amount of your stay may be required. Your reservation will only be guaranteed upon receipt of your deposit or confirmation by secure bank transfer. The full amount of the rental may be required at the time of booking for any stay where the arrival is less than 30 days away. A confirmation including all the elements relative to your stay, will then be addressed to you by e-mail or mail.
The balance of your stay must be received 1 month before your arrival. In case of non payment of the balance within the time limit indicated, Terres de France Group reserves the right to consider the reservation request as null and void and to apply the cancellation conditions provided and defined below.
Article 2 : Terms of occupancy
We remind you that an accommodation planned for a given number of occupants at the time of rental, cannot in any case be inhabited by a higher number of people. Terres de France reserves the right to charge for any breach.
Article 3 : Tourist tax
Our rates are inclusive of all taxes and include the provision of accommodation, utilities (water, electricity, heating), except for the tourist tax – payable directly on site – and optional services offered.
Article 4 : Accepted payments & fees
Terres de France accepts payments in euros only by check, cash, bank transfer, bank cards (Visa, Eurocard/Mastercard, Amex) and vacation vouchers (ANCV).
- There is no charge for payment by cash, bank transfer or credit card (Visa, Eurocard/Mastercard, Amex) or Terres de France group gift voucher.
Article 5 : Change of reservation
For the satisfaction of any change of date or place of stay, we will retain the following allowances:
- If the amount of the initial reservation is less than the amount of the modified reservation :
The differential amount of the reservation and an additional fee of 20€ per reservation will be charged. - If the amount of the initial reservation is greater than the amount of the modified reservation:
An additional fee of 20 € per reservation will be charged, the difference will be returned to the customer in the form of a voucher valid for a future reservation of accommodation or package.
No request for modification will be taken into account if it is received by Terres de France Group or one of its establishments after the 14th day before your arrival.
Nota Bene :
- Any request to increase the length of your stay will be carried out by the Terres de France group at no extra cost
- Any request to reduce the length of your stay is considered by Terres de France as a partial cancellation and will be subject to the cancellation terms and conditions referred to in article 6 below.
Article 6 : Interruption of stay or sports or leisure activity
Early departure or interruption of sports or leisure activities (spa, restaurant, ticketing, other activities) booked with the Terres de France group will not give rise to any refund.
Article 7 : Conditions of cancellation
All cancellations must be notified by mail to Terres de France Group, at the following address. The date of reception of the notification determines the date of cancellation:

Reservation for 1 and 2 nights stay
In case of cancellation, the following fees will be retained:
- More than 48 hours before your arrival: no cancellation fee
- At 48H and less before your arrival : the totality of the stay will be debited
Reservation for stays of 3 nights or more and all packages
In case of cancellation, the following fees will be retained:
- 30 days and more before your arrival : 30€ of file fees
- Between 30 and 15 days (included) before your arrival : 30 % of the total amount of the stay
- Between 14 and 8 days (included) before your arrival : 50 % of the amount of the stay
- 7 days or less before your arrival: 100% of the total amount of your stay
Article 8 : Provision / departure
The keys are handed over according to the check-in and check-out times of the establishments (arrival and departure times). The client must inform himself of these times. In no case will Terres de France be held responsible for any cancellation or additional fees in case of non respect of the arrival time.
If, due to a major impediment, you are unable to arrive within the time frame of the establishments, it is essential to inform the establishments. The latter will then arrange directly with you so that you can find the keys to your accommodation on your arrival.
Article 9 : Animals
Terres de France accepts pets in all its residences for an additional fee. Category 1 and 2 dogs are not accepted. All animals must be vaccinated and kept on a leash and remain under the sole control of their master. A maximum of 2 animals per accommodation is imperative. Terres de France reserves the right to charge for any damage or nuisance caused by the presence of the animal in the residence or the accommodation, whether it is breakage or cleanliness. Terres de France will not be held responsible for any breach of this rule.
Article 10 : Deposit & inventory
On arrival, you will be asked to pay a deposit of 250€ for the accommodation and a cleaning deposit at the end of your stay, according to the type of apartment booked (T1 = 45€, T2 = 55€, T3 = 65€). These will not be cashed.
On departure, a cleanliness check and an inventory of fixtures will be carried out before the deposit is returned (within a maximum of 7 days). Charges may apply depending on the condition of the accommodation.
Article 11 : Responsibility
We would like to inform you that the rental in a Tourist Residence is not the responsibility of the hoteliers. Consequently, the responsibility of the establishments and of the Terres de France group cannot be engaged in case of loss, theft or degradation of personal effects in its Residences, hotels, camping or group lodgings, as well as in the apartments as in the parking lots or the common premises (bicycle room…).
The statute of limitations for sums due does not fall within the scope of the hotel statute of limitations (Article 2272 of the Civil Code). As an exception to article 2244 of the Civil Code, the sending of a registered letter by the Terres de France Group or one of its establishments to any client who owes money interrupts the statute of limitations applicable in such matters.
Article 12 : General obligations of the customer
All customers must read and accept the internal regulations of the establishments and must comply with them. These rules are freely available for consultation in each establishment and are established by the establishment itself. Terres de France cannot be held responsible for the non-respect of these rules by its clients.
We advise you to systematically close your windows, doors and bay windows to avoid any inconvenience. The Terres de France group or one of its establishments cannot be held responsible in case of theft, damage or loss of personal belongings. In the event of a visit or stay of guests (within the limits of the capacity of our apartments), we ask you to inform the reception.
Any reservation and taking possession of an accommodation in one of the establishments of the Terres de France group or in a partner establishment, necessarily implies the acceptance of the present reservation and rental conditions.
Article 13: Complaints and mediation
If you have a complaint after your stay, you can send it by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt to our postal address (Terres de France – Service Réclamation, 42 Rue du Dr Calmette, 37540 Saint-Cyr-sur-Loire) or by e-mail to reclamations@terresdefrance.com.
We would like to inform you that if you have submitted a complaint to our Customer Service department, but you are not satisfied with our response, you can request a referral to a CMAP mediator.
The consumer may refer a request for mediation to the CMAP either :
- via the form available on the CMAP website at www.cmap.fr/consommateurs, or
